Nothing says “fighting UPS” quite like UPS knowing exactly who to call when they have a problem.

Back in 2013, UPS management reached out to Sean O’Brien about a steward who was speaking out against a contract proposal. O’Brien’s response?

“I will take care of this.”

Think about that for a minute.

When a member pushes back, UPS calls O’Brien. Not the other way around.

UPS was doing what UPS always does—looking out for UPS. The bigger question is why they were so comfortable picking up the phone in the first place.

And why are members just finding out about it now?

For years, we’ve been told who’s fighting for us. Meanwhile, emails like this tell a different story.
