Where is the UPS Strike Vote?

Sean "the pathological liar" O'Brien is talking mass shit in the worthless UPS application. But the worthless ****-sucker has yet to send out a strike authorization vote.

Everyone knows O'Brien is in bed with UPS management. In 2013 he went after Vote No activists and his friends in management helped him get Rob Atkinson fired.

Do not be fooled by wannabee Napoleon suffering from little man syndrome.

I’ve never seen a strike vote until the company’s “ last best and final offer “ . There has been no offer yet , we have not even heard what our proposals are . In the past It has always been “ the company offers XYZ we recommend a strike “ now let’s take a strike vote.

Amazing! I just texted someone asking this very question. The last contract, they had a vote in June. We always had a vote before starting contract negotiations.

I’m pretty sure that by June there had been negotiations underway and there had been proposals and counter proposals shared . I could be wrong but I remember under Hoffa we always started early , too early in my opinon.

You would be correct. Back in 99 (I believe) , they negotiated the contract almost a year prior. They had a slogan called " October 1 or we're done!" I even got a shirt that read that because I was an alternate steward.

Just my opinion, never start that early. Come to the table with your proposals and make it clear you are here to negotiate not to spend months posturing . Send your message and MEAN it . This present campaign seems more like an extension of a long running public relation exhibition. Long term negotiations sends a message “ no rush “ . Also gives lots of time for tough guy statements and rally’s.

Anyone know what the numbers were/are on the Contract Unity Pledge campaign? Because the target was 150,000 (half the UPS membership). My guess is, if it was anything like the contract survey questionnaire that they mailed out access codes to - which less than 3% of the members responded to - then they won't be holding any strike authorization vote until one is absolutely necessary.

If 50% would have signed O'Brien would be bragging about it. The fact locals showed up to the same barn multiple times speaks volumes.

I pledged a long time ago to get these Hoffa kiss asses out of office. If you are on the IBT executive board with these scumbags, then you need to go too.

                  That's my pledge card.

Tons of Hoffa hold overs. The tentative agreement that they bring to the members is not going to make part time members happy. Many will not vote and it will pass. Part timers don't matter to UPS or the Teamster's heads
