    I have a serious question to ask…

Why are there links to articles on this platform from organizations that are full blown admitted socialists and communists???
Thousands of Americans have given their lives on foreign soil in wars waged by both.
Socialism and communism are NOT American values and have caused multiple wars and the deaths of well over 100 million people.
This constant drumbeat and promotion of this “benevolent despotism” and government authoritarianism that is socialism and communism is totally against the American ideas of liberty and individual freedom.
It also DIVIDES and pushes away members that don’t want to hear that anti-American bull shit and than back away from fully participating in Union activities which in turn makes us weaker.
The average and normal thinking American Teamster is a patriotic Teamster with a pride and love of country. We reject the false premise of the “righteousness” of socialism and communism. Freedom and individual liberty is what we believe in and revere.
The constant promotion of socialism, communism, and despotism by people that are attempting to attach all of that through one’s employment and union membership does not “bring us together”, but divides us.
I know I speak for thousands of Teamsters that say keep your hatred for private business, hatred of the Founding of this Nation, hatred for our way of life, hatred of American values, and focus on making better contracts for the members.
That’s what most of us want. We don’t pay dues to give America a black eye and promote the agenda of the enemies of the United States and it’s citizens.

This is subject matter, along with Road Rules, that we spent a considerable amount of time on. We want the platform to be as open as possible. We want members here to know they can freely express their opinion on union matters within the parameters of the Road Rules. We attempt to link any news on the union from internal and external sources and let the reader decide which is valid and which is crap (admittedly there's alot of crap). Hopefully when we error it will be on the side of another great American value, that of Free Speech.
We appreciate your comments and participation.

Your misunderstanding what I said. My comment wasn’t a free speech issue and if you believe the articles linked to from this site do not have as their agenda to promote socialism and communism to convince the reader that the American way of life is the wrong way of life, you are disingenuous or ignorant.
What does socialism and communism have to do with “union issues” or collective bargaining??
These sites openly promote their despotism of socialism and communism as righteous and noble. Reread the 2nd half of my comment concerning the normal thinking patriotic Teamster. That was the point of the comment.

LMAO. Some folks are just too funny. "The American way of life" what does that mean? Is that in the Constitution? or The Bill of Rights?

Labor unions derive from Karl Marx. Labor unions are a communist concept.

The prevailing wage, pensions, healthcare are socialist concepts.

Labor Unions were illegal in America until 1935. The two corporate parties of America came together in attempts to shut down the only groups that cared about American workers--the socialists and communists.

The radical strikes of the first 34 years of the twentieth century were led by socialists and communists. They were the only ones that did not sellout like the AFL affiliated unions who were in bed with Washington.

Thanks to the socialists and communists labor unions became legal entities with the passage of the Wagner Act in 1935.

I believe brother Faust has answered your question perfectly. I would not be so pretentious to announce that I’m speaking for other teamsters. Try speaking for yourself .
