    New UPS aka Roadie

i went to the store this morning and to my surprise i ran into a former yellow driver i know. i asked him if he found a job yet. he told me he currently works at roadie and hes killing it, in comparison to not working. i told him that's really ups work. i got an ear full from him on how he was disowned after yellow closed and how he called his local and they never returned his calls to help him find employment. he said he knows of at least 15 other drivers working at roadie and they have no desire to be horseheads anymore. its truly sad but i cant really disagree with them. though what i found very interesting is he stated elsewhere in the country there are other drivers that are talking about organizing but with a different union. you would think this would be a hot topic.

Square Root: The Union’s leaving laid off members high and dry sucks. As one who worked at both Yellow and YRC owned New Penn, it makes one think about the second word in our Union: “Brotherhood “. It’s become an empty word in the administration of our Union. As empty as the word “Solidarity “ when expressed by O’Brien and his OZ cohorts. Vote them out!

O'Brien dumped them becuse he knew they didn't and wouldn't support him. Besides it was more important to show UPS what a tough guy he was.

Maybe if we all cosplay as football players we can organize Roadie. They are daring us to strike in the next contract.

funny you should bring it up. what does he know about football? he obviously knows nothing about putting a winning team together. i also like how he said on bigger bad ideas all the union financials are there in black and white. lets see the actual production on what the employee actually do.

Everything was known about Roadie before the last UPS contract was negotiated, maybe that would have been a good time to bring it up.

          This was O'Briens Yellow strategy.
