Jim Kilbane isn't just some random guy posting online. He's a Local 407 officer out of the central region, who is tied to multiple Teamsters news facebook pages. Which includes that present themselves as Eastern region pages.

Why is a Central officer running or influencing Eastern Teamster news??

If you can even call it "news"...the content comes out the same way, half the story, slanted in OBrien's favor. At that point, it's union politics...not "news".

When an elected official is that involved in pushing one side of it, people are going to ask why and who benefits.

If you're going to run a page that is shaping what members see, then put your name on it! Don't hide behind page names or aliases.

Members should know who is talking to them and what they are getting!

Jim Kilbane is the Recording Secretary Local 407-Ohio, Business Agent and Trade Rep ($18,000) at IBT and is likely the #1 Facebook admin on pro O’Brien sites, some disguised as, in my opinion official Teamster sites. His new Profile Pic is the Teamster Logo with OZ in the middle, click on it and it takes you to other sites. So even if the post is not campaign related his Profile is and it takes you to a pro-OZ page with one click.
Ther are many Pro OZ Facebook pages with 1000’s of friends, that have various admins. Other Teamster Facebook pages like Teamsters Rising, Teamsters Friends Group, Jimmy Hoffa Teamsters, Teamster History, Teamsters against Trump mostly different admins and a quick scan reveal no OZ material.
Pro-OZ Facebook pages include, Eastern Conference Teamster News, Teamster Freight News, Teamster News, Western Conference Teamsters News, Western Region Teamster News, Southwestern Region Teamsters News, Central Region Teamsters News, O’Brien Zuckerman Teamsters United Information Group, could be others. Admins could be major contributors on these or other sites. Thinking admins can post with that Facebook Page’s name, not as their admin name.
The view I have of some of these sites is, they appear to be official sites with a mix of Official Teamster posts, Photos from official Teamster functions from around the country, OZ campaign material and other pro-OZ material. The questions I have are, were the official Teamster Photos taken and the official Teamster Posts developed on the union dime? Is the Better Bad Ideas Podcast union funded? Given the time required to develop the OZ campaign material, other pro-OZ material, the number of posts on different pages and the times of the posts, were does the guy find time to do his Teamster jobs?
An example is Eastern Conference Teamster News; an official looking, sounding, Facebook page with a heavy mix of Teamster material blended with OZ Campaign material. There was an Official Eastern Conference of Teamsters that was a Regional organization within the IBT formed in 1953
The IBT spends large amounts of money at PR firms, if pics and artwork are official Teamster’s property and mixed with OZ campaign material, wouldn’t that be a “In Kind Contribution”? How many lunches and breaktimes on the union dime do these admins get?
If I remember correctly, one of the main complaints O’Brien and Zuckerman had in the TeamsterLink case was the “Confusion.” issue. Teamster members, outsiders might have thought TeamsterLink.org was an official site. Yet, here they are doing exactly what they complained about!

Recently we received our Central States Funding Notice for the year 2025. Great news, it is 98% Funded! As you damn well know it was Joe Biden and the Democrats, within a few months of taking office that passed the American Rescue Plan, releasing $36B to aid pensions of union workers! My family and I want to thank you Joe. Without Biden and the Democrats support, Central States would only be 16% Funded. Jim Kilbane, we want you to know how pissed off we are that you are an enabler of O’Briens and his lies, Sean O’Brien: “And I’ll be honest with you, I’m a Democrat, but they have F#cked us for over the last 40 years…”
