Look it up the GCC is splitting from the IBT. Where is TDU with the article?

Because the IBT wants to take over the GCC and control their Conference. The GCC pushed back and said “No”

Where is TDU? Oh that’s right they sold out their souls for a seat at the table. Just like they’re staying quiet on the IBT dissolving our Local #962

        But the union will
        lose members, they’re basically teamsters.

          Something like that,

On June 30, 2022 Fred Zuckerman sent a letter to GCC/IBT Conference President Kurt Freeman confirming their meeting of June 23 where Zuckerman had informed him that the IBT was terminating the July 1,2004 merger agreement effective December 31, 2022.

It 's more like we're throwing these Teamsters out. The union has provided no information on the reasons for this move. Few even know about it because this administration is determined to keep us in the dark.

They don’t get to vote? Pathetic.

We keep hearing different numbers, 1.3 million members and then 1.2 million members. Which is it?

not really 1.2 it is mor like 850,000 true dues paying members. With the retirees that's where the 1.2 comes in.

Good question. I've noticed that too. If we tossed the GCC out of Teamster ranks then we're 30 to 60k smaller than either of those numbers.

I heard officials at Local 396 think Sean is going to get voted out office next election cycle.
