You want a straightforward answer? Here is one. Anyone that sits in front of their laptop every day while pounding it and yelling at individuals or groups and does hardly anything to make a material difference...needs to shut the fuck up and organize.

This website serves as a means for active and retired Teamster members to voice their opinions. I won't, as you continually demand "to shut the fuck up". And I would not expect others, that freely express their views here, to "shut the fuck up" either. OZ attempted to shut down this website by paying (with the members' dues money) a corporate union-busting law firm that made millions by helping employers defeat worker organizing. You seem to have no issue with dishing it out Brother Randall, but you seem to think you've got it all figured out. You freely criticize Teamster Mobilize and The Fearless Slate; two rank and file based groups that are working to demand a more democratic, honest, transparent, and militant Teamsters union. But I have not read here of anyone telling you to stop expressing your views, let alone to "shut the fuck up". Ah, but your full statement and demand is "to shut the fuck up and organize!" Keep us updated on your personal organizing activities.

Randall as I see it is making the statement that real organizing doesn't happen onliine only. Which seems like a reasonable and accurate thing to say.

jerseymike78? AIJackson You are implying that I should be organizing to "do" something about "TM" and the writers on here that are "speaking out against TDU"? That's about the least intellectual suggestion that I've ever heard. Moreover, I've given TM a certain amount of credit because they clearly have done some organizing. It's possible that the group could have a positive effect by accepting some direction. That's not criticism (in the way that you intend it to be). You clearly want it to be received with certain connotations. If either of you guys chose to have my words be directed at you...well that was your choice.

I've made it clear on this site, as well as to Hooker, that I was more than willing to try to be a working part of change. Ya'll have intentionally missed my point while deflecting toward me. That's typical stuff. I'll say it again. Fixing, or punishing, TDU does nothing to address the primary issues that have been expressed. You know that. Yet, it is the primary focus of many that share certain issues pertaining to the union. Personally, I was willing to attend the TDU convention as a means of assisting Hooker with his campaign. You also know that. To be frank, attacking the organization in the manner that ya'll have done serves to dilute any eforts to make necessary changes to the Teamsters. That should be obvious at this point. However, unlike ya'll, my intent was NOT to harm TDU. Rather, I believed there was an opportunity there for Hooker. Name recognition for Hooker, agitation, disseminate information, BUILD A COMMITTEEE OF ORGANIZERS, create contact information lists, create a goddamn plan. Since there was no apparent serious level of interest in that activity to assist Hooker I withdrew my offer. Now, I'm absolutely certain that there is a person or two taking part in this string that is dying to say, "Hey, asshole Randall! I was there." Or, "I was willing!" With that, here's what I have to say, If so, why do you think that my comment is directed at you? And, why are you not telling the laptop pounders to shut the fuck up and organize?

        Brother Randall:

Your arrogance is astounding. I'll leave it there. I don't know where you got the idea that I or anyone else on this thread is suggesting you organize against t-unionlink.

You're ok with the current TDU; you're not ok with O'Brien's support for Trump/MAGA. Understood.

jersey seems to imply that I am guilty of pounding my laptop (rather than organize against) writers on t-union. Not quite that arrogant.

The truth is TDU it's like that old burning, smoking heap of shit you drove as a kid. No amount of oil, rings, valves or praying is going to make it reliable transportation. It's always going to be a piece of shit. It's beyond repair. If it was a dog you would put it down. No one saves a TURD ,they flush it It's useless.
