    Brownouts and nondisclosure agreements

Check out this propaganda video still on Youtube singing the praises of 22.4's, the solution to all our problems four years ago. Forgive me if I'm not taking everything at face value. A lot of the same people who pushed this garbage are still in leadership in fact several are vice presidents.

Now we have nondisclosure agreements, and no that doesn't just apply to information going to the public. Hoffa never did that to my knowledge. Our representatives have to sign nondisclosure agreements in order to participate. The whole idea of nondisclosure agreements makes a sham of rank and file committees. I thought this constitutional change was made to strengthen communication, the opposite is happening and not a peep from TDU.

I think members will stick together and in this environment we'll get a good contract but we'll get it despite this petty BS. This process is looking very familiar, in my neck of the woods its all the same players taking the same approach. I believe we were promised something much different.

Yup. Boggles my mind. As soon as Fraud Suckerman announced he was joining forces with Obrien, I knew Sean was going to suck some of those people in slowly (the only way he could do it).

Damn shame that I was on vacation when they visited my building. I had my video camera ready.

    Talk about rewarding bad behavior.

Are people aware that 10 supplements have already reach MOU’s ( memorandum of understanding) and have not even been opened ? So , we’re they so good that they didn’t even warrant talking about ?

You tell us. Why don't you ask the Seanies in your local.

FYI , that question was sarcasm , every supplement should be opened ! You get one chance every 5 years to improve the working conditions the members have to endure . So in actuality most members get only 5-6 times in their entire career to improve their lives! USE THOSE OPPORTUNITIES!

You don't thin Sean would have given us 22.4's had he still been the lead negotiator? He seized an opportunity is all.

If I recall correctly, Matt Taibi, the principal officer of my last local, 251, was kicked out of the UPS committee because he told us of sellout proposals made by the Hoffa’s allies on the committee. He complained then, but now, not a peep, only praise for the tough guy from Medford.
