From 7th paragraph in the above book review: "Reform movements within the union bubble up only to fizzle out or be co-opted. In fact, the current president, Sean O’Brien, came out of the longtime Teamsters for a Democratic Union (TDU) faction."

I don't think any self-respecting TDU member would agree with Joseph Grosso's above statement. O'Brien's only involvement with TDU has been his verbal attacks against TDU over the years (prior to the 2021 "Coalition"), and his subsequent co-opting TDU leadership (Paff, Levin, others - ISC Co-Chairs).

Good point. I saw that in the article and went to the original to make a comment but there is no place to do so. False statements like that change the whole theme of the article.
