    UPS and the Package wars

I was happy to learn that my book The Package King got a bit of bump in sales after it was quoted in the New Yorker. Sometimes it pops ups in unexpected places and many thanks to the writers who found it useful. With the exception of Guy Miller and Ron Jacobs, who reviewed the self-published version in 2016 for In These Times and Counterpunch, and Danny Katch who reviewed the Haymarket edition for The Indypendent in 2020, it has been boycotted by the Labor Notes—TDU—Jacobin crowd, largely because of my recent writing that's critical of the leadership Teamsters and the direction of TDU. I gave up years ago hoping the American Left would mature into a better place but one can still hope, I guess.

It’s actually “ Stalinistic” for Labor Notes , TDU and Jacobian crowd to disregard a truth over political differences. The rewriting of or ignoring history is a very small minded attempt at maintaining something that you believe to be more important then freedom of thought .
