Yawn. 2013, and old news. The Vairma people made a big deal of this in the 2021 cycle too, but never lifted a finger to actually do anything in between. Faux outrage.

No surprise that Gimmee_Danger, in his above comment, could care less about O'Brien's threats to any Teamster that opposes him or his lackeys. O'Brien only parted ways with Hoffa, Jr. after the 2016 IBT GEB election, when Hoffa.Jr. and O'Brien's opponents won the US IBT election, but failed to carry the needed votes in Canada, knowing there was a real possibility for a so called insurgent to win in 2021. In O'Brien's open letter to Teamsters in or about 2019 or 2020, he complained that "outsiders" were running the IBT under Hoffa, Jr.'s reign. Of course he never stood up to complain when he was on Hoffa's Slate, until the writing was on the wall.
O'Brien is the definition of opportunism. He has no convictions and no principles. What O'Brien, and TDU under Paff and Levin, don't recognize or want to understand is:
The right to dissent is a foundation of democracy. It goes with the territory of being a real leader.

I don't follow TDU and have always had mixed feelings, but I would think SOB's alliance with Trump is a bridge too far for most TDU members. Should make for a lively Democratic debate, lol.
