You remember O'Briens buddy Trump, well Trumps NLRB says the drivers aren't Amazon employees. Now Musk and friends just got the court to declare the NLRB unconstitutional.

No the Amazon campaign won't be tied up in court forever it's dead now. SOB just doesn't want anyone to know including the drivers. Fake organizing.

This amazon organizing campaign is now officially a fraud. With no change in the status of third party employers we're back to where we were prior to the Biden NLRB. You organize a third party amazon delivery company and amazon just fires them and hires another one. The only people hurt are the drivers themselves who find themselves out of a job because they listened to an organizer that didn't tell them the truth.

The below is posted on the TDU website today:

          "Amazon’s Subcontracting Scam

"Amazon claims the firings in Queens are not retaliation. Their excuse? They didn’t “fire” anyone—they just cut contracts with a Delivery Service Provider (DSP), Cornucopia, a subcontractor Amazon claims is the real employer of the driver. But it’s all a phony shell game. Drivers wear Amazon uniforms, follow Amazon rules, and work off Amazon’s routing software. Amazon calls the shots. They are the employer and everyone knows it."

As others, including "This Is Change" posted above: The Biden NLRB had given greater weight for Union's to prove co-employer status in circumstances that resulted in the Amazon firing of the drivers performing deliveries for Amazon through it's subcontractors. The Trump NLRB? They restored the prior 2020 Trump NLRB definition of co-employer. Accordingly, the Union has a much bigger hurdle to overcome, in defending these fired workers.

The biggest Teamster organizing drive in transportation: Organizing Amazon, has been severely eroded under the Trump/MAGA Project 2025 agenda. And our General President, Sean O'Brien, says we're better off with Trump! Maybe O'Brien meant the multi-salaried GEB is better off under Trump. The tax breaks for the wealthy, at the expense of the working class, have now been enshrined by law underTrump.

You would think TDU, in reporting on this event, would have included a reference to how the labor laws have eroded under the Trump NLRB as well as the multitude of Trump's executive orders that have stripped collective bargaining rights for federal workers, and so many more anti-worker policies. Or would mentioning that violate the TDU Constitution provisions on "political" activities in TDU - we're not allowed to disparage Trump and his policies? To do so might be inferred as "political"? And we might be barred from TDU?
