    Strike Averted At UPS?

So SOB and the Teamsters social media states that we were hours away from a strike at World port and 6 other states yet none of us knew a strike was coming? Hahaha this dude is a joke. Just like is orange buddy. Just make up bullshit and the brain dead sheep will eat it up. Like that Teletubby woke fat kid at 1932. Wonder how much Korgie pays him to do "communications"

Ok, let’s take a look at this………UPS VIOLATES CONTRACT! ……….Who didn’t know about this?
I see a Facebook page from New York where the local posts pictures of grievance checks, thousands and thousands of dollars! Great optics!! Let me ask a question, is UPS a stupid company? Seriously, are they? THEY ARE NOT! Ask yourself this, why would UPS continue to pay out these grievances? Here is my take on it, they pay those thousands of dollars because they make Millions of dollars violating the contract! Then they give a wink and a nod to the local while they are laughing at them for falling for their strategy. They allow the local to look tough and show just how good they are at making the company pay! Don’t think the officers of those locals don’t know exactly what’s going on, it works for them, just like it worked for O’Brien.
TALK TOUGH , SETTLE SHORT, CLAIM VICTORY!
O’Brien talked tough, throughout the contract campaign it was all threats, and tough guy bragging, strike threats and big time PR PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES!
Settle short, put out HISTORIC gains with nothing behind it! AC with no guarantee, claimed no automation/robotics without a way to enforce language, took a pension contribution cut to all but his fund and creation of new full time jobs and got nothing but lay-offs.
Claim victory, yeah he did claim victory, he did.
Now we are back to the tough talk!

What were the specific issues prompting a strike threat (CBA violations)? What was the exception to the "No Strike, No Lockout" provision???

The absence of specifics in the IBT's social media posts assume that the membership is stupid.

While we're celebrating, maybe someone can answer why we're not striking to enforce what O'Brien says we "won" in the 'Historic" contract. Things like AC in trucks, 25,000 new jobs and the elimination of AI and robots can all be dealt with now that we have this new found power. I expect to see a fleet of AC package cars arriving at any moment. The bigger the lie the better.

I'm not familiar with the UPS CBA. All CBAs have a no strike, no lockout provision. Few have a clause that allows for a party to escape that. How did a "strike" threat cause UPS to acquiesce? Why were CBA violations not subject to the Grievance and Arbitration provision?

Is a strike still a strike if NOBODY knows about it?

If a tree falls in the forest and no one’s around does it still make a sound?

If a union leader calls a strike in the same forest……………?
