How will Unions react if the Supreme Court guts strike rights?

This case is truly dangerous territory. No one really knows how far the Court will go to reward their corporate benefactors with an anti-Union decision. This is a particularly bad case for us. There's a reason why most Teamster leaders avoid unnecessary strike violence. Generally the temporary satisfaction isn't worth the long term cost. The long term ramifications of this decision are potentially enormous.

The dollar value of the alleged damage is not high. The company had plenty of notice that a strike was coming. The Drivers left the trucks running so the load wouldn't harden. A company that claimed it didn't need the union or its Drivers should have been more than capable of emptying and washing out a couple trucks.

How will union officials react if the supreme court guts strike rights? They will most likely fold. They folded when the gooberment bipartisanly imposed a concessionary contract on the railworkers. Then they will most likely encourage people to support demonrats who voted to impose the contract in greater #s than the repukicons. Not that the repukicons are for labor, theyre just being oppositional. The demonrats had the opportunity to appoint supreme court judges & blew it. But even when they do appoint judges they are not prolabor.
The union members need to react independently of union officials. Members need to take industrial action using a diversity of tactics including wildcat

Unions will react like how business unionist do, issues a statement about how outrage they are. No mention of standing with other unions to coordinate a national general strike. We need to be taking notes from the French.
