It's' amazing how viciously unions attack their own staff organizers for trying to form their own bargaining unit. Some SEIU Locals have retaliated with A plus boss's campaigns. During Carey's administration an International Organizer was fired while she had taken the lead. Reached a settlement through the Board. I worked for a state Local that was an affiliate of SEIU and took the lead in an effort that became successful. I was targeted for years. A board member of that Local told me that the Local's President stated that "there must be a price to pay for forming a union". BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Labor unions are historically hard to work for.

Funny how quickly union leaders start acting like the Bosses their supposed to fight. They act as if they don't believe in the basic principles of organized labor and it's certainly doesn't just apply to organizers. On the day O'Brien took office he fired more than 150 long-term staffers by email. Cut off their health insurance and barred them from the building. These were staff, not poitical figures or apointments. A shameful day in our union and a glimpse at the kind of "union man" now in charge.

That Chris that is in charge allows his lead staff treat the Organizers like children. Several.organizers quit because of it. It's sad
