    Was 151 days enough Sean?

Still haven't heard anything from O'Brien regarding Trump's first 100 days in office. Hmmm...let's see. Trump intentionally tried to crash the economy. Canceled medical research for children. Tried to destroy Medicare. Cuts to Social Security. Numerous times has ignored the rule of law. Fired thousands of federal workers including veterans. Destroyed retirement accounts. Took away the legal right of federal workers to be represented by a union. Openly supported 'Right To Work' law (which allows workers to opt out of a union even though they are receiving the same conditions of the union contract) while total Teamsters union members continues to dwindle consistently. Supports challenges to the National Labor Relations Board that causes delays to union organizing representation elections. SOB is likely thinking Trump should get another "100 days" before assessing the orange anti-union clown. However, I don't think that's really it. I simply think that O'Brien is selfishly irresponsible as a General President.

O'Brien; what is he thinking? Could it be any of the following?
      - O'Brien sees his alliance with Trump as a means to advance the interests of the Teamsters?
      - The movie tariffs as a means to bring more work to that particular Teamster craft?
      - The few right wing Republicans that are now complaining about cuts to Medicaid, as a turning point in the MAGA movement?
      - The private dinner at Mara Largo with Trump as the realization of his personal aspirations?
      - He's setting himself up as a Fox News commentator if he gets defeated in the next IBT election?

All of the above might make sense to a total and complete opportunist that cares nothing about economic justice or any other kind of justice. It is the thinking and actions of someone who can't see the forest for the trees. It is the most narrow perspective of what the Labor Movement is about. And again, every IBT GEB member that continues to sit on their hands and ignores this reality is complicit. They know better.

The damage we are seeing inflicted on what is/was decent in America will not recover easily. The culture that has been won in America (the USA) has come about through decades of struggle. The Trump/MAGA movement is setting back the gains of The New Deal, The War On Poverty, The civil rights movement, the Womens' rights movement LBGT rights movement, the many Teamsters that fought to end corruption and win democracy in the Teamsters, and the basic rights, such as free speech. This is a shit storm, and O'Brien is on board with this shit show.

      Damn!

O'Brien is looking for greener pastures, he knows how sensitive Trump is, its not in his interest to be critical of Trump in any way. O'Brien likes his standing as Trumps favorite union guy, he won't risk it and definetly not in support of workers, or teamsters for that matter.

And O'Brien has told Teamsters that being a Teamster is a way of life. He's an empty suit.

Just another egomaniacal sociopath. So I guess this is what militancy and reform look like. Oh not to forget we were going to become a more engaged membership due to the new transparency. Thanks TDU TURD or whatever your name is for helping us on this.
