The problem is not the individual locals, some are good and some are bad depending on who you talk to. Mineros just bcame a VP with no real history of success in anything. Where's the Joint Council leadership in JC 42? Aren't we still the biggest Joint Council? We need a JC that pays attention to the members of JC 42 before anything else and can get all the locals together.

To some CVS rank-and-file they have a different view of their contract.

Didn't the warehouse and drivers vote the contract in? i am hearing that they got 3 dollars in the first year and 1.30 a year for the remaining 3 years. i also heard that the drivers were wanting a 12 dollar bump for the 4 years? i'm wondering where they got that figure and yes i know you always aim high and work your way to a agreeable rate. I am hearing that one of the stewards spearheading that 12 dollar bump did it for political reasons to create division. Not sure how true that is but the warehouse is saying that this contract is the best they ever got.

Warehouse by a huge margin and the drivers it barely passed. Why would any administration tell a bargaining unit "if we voted our offer down that we would be striking on our own and the warehouse members would continue to work." That "one of the stewards spearheading that 12 dollar bump did it for political reasons to create division" sounds like something a supporter of the administration or from the administration would tell you.
No steward needs to create division, Local 952 administration already created and nurtured that division.

A 12 dollar hourly increase seems reasonable, but why not 15. When companies see proposals like that it's hard to take the union committee seriously. At some point you need to back up you proposals with facts and stick with real numbers and don't give in.

I heard No Balls from Philly is having problems getting signatures. The members are finally wising up to see his weakness.

Did you mean No Balls from Boston aka the Boston Wanna Be Bully.During the lead up to UPS contract negotiations wasn't he saying that he was going to be UPS on knees while putting his helmet and strapping his chin strap for a full contact sport. Look how historic that turned out to be.

Sean will win. His slate will win. There is no credible opposition
