I was told that there will be 3 slates running in the next election. I know there is 1 running against the current group. Does anyone know any truth in that?

Let’s talk definitions here , the term “ Trump teamsters “ is an oxymoron, no ? The two words are opposites , no? To claim to be a teamster yet also support Trumps anti labor practices and his history and his own statements is indefensible. You certainly may agree with him in other areas and policies but you can’t also agree with his STATED OPINIONS on unions. Not if you are truly a trade unionist .

If you are the General President of the IBT it is your responsibility and duty to protect and advance the union...FIRST AND FOREMOST! If SOB agrees with conservative economic politics...that's understandable. However, outright support for someone that is trying to destroy your union? That should disqualify O'Brien!

The union has been divided because of all the political crap. It's being destroyed within. Next week they will be sucking money off of everyone at the Fake Unity Conference in Vegas. They're not getting one dime from me.

This is where Seanie Boy is exposed as a fraud. Any serious trade unionist adheres to and understands the aforementioned statement. Instead of educating the members on the factual substance of Rumps presidency and the impact of his actions he panders to those misinformed members for his own electoral benefit. Plain and simple this manchild is in it for himself. Sometimes you have to tell people what they don't want to hear despite what you might fear as a repercussion. It's called being a leader, something O'Brien knows nothing about.
