    Thank you Ken Paff

For all those teamsters who wanted Trump to win , you should all send thank you cards to Ken Paff and TDU. Without their support of O’Brien it would have been much more difficult for Trump to win. That’s not the only reason he won but it certainly helped Trump by not having thousands of teamsters involved in a GOTV ( Get Out The Vote) campaign. So I hope history notes the assistance given and just who is responsible for this administration being able to accomplish their goals.
Give credit where credit is due!
TRUMP! Brought to you by Paff , Levine, Hardy, Campbell, Breslaw, Halstead and the rest of the TDU steering committee.

Congratulations! This will be your legacy!

Within the first six months national Right to Work will be on the agenda, the NLRB will be gutted, and perhaps some of the funds which saved our pensions will be clawed back, or at the very least, not given to those funds who haven't gotten the funds yet. I don't give credit to oz or paff, or the IBT members for making the difference, they certainly didn't do anything to educate their members on at least those 3 important issues. While I understand the frustration of workers and those who are not the so-called elite, I really don't think many understood the negative side of their vote or lack of voting. The Dems are like the mafia, we give them money and at least they don't kill us (not to mention Biden actually saving the Teamsters) and the Republicans just fuck us every chance they get. Going to be a long 12 years or more...

Don’t you think Trump will help us now? Didn’t O’Brien really support him?

There was no endorsement by the IBT.

        Keep telling yourself that.

Trump doesn't help anyone but himself. He has a very long track record of that. What he IS going to do is replace the very pro-union staff at the NLRB with lawyers from anti-union firms, he's going to change the leadership of the labor board so that it's run by professional "union avoidance" attorneys (again, that's what he did last time), he's going to have his new staff and attorneys claw back all of the rules and regulations that have been put in place over the past four years that have helped unions and workers organize and secure contracts. He'll likely seek to pass a national Right to Work law, and try to ban unions among federal employees.

He is without a doubt one of the most anti-union Presidents in history. We know this from his previous four years as president.

To quote Einstein - "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Here's a newsflash, there aren't typically thousands of members doing GOTV. The exception is a handful of Locals that do get involved, which had the ability to do so this time (and did). The illusion of what the IBT endorsement has meant in the past is totally overblown.

There are over 400 locals in our union, if only three members in each got involved in a GOTV campaign there would be over a thousand members involved. Most locals that get involved have many more than three members involved. Consider this a newsflash for you. A no endorsement carried almost as much weight.

I have been a dues paying member of the Teamsters for over 31 years. There have been plenty of Republican as well as Democrat Presidents. The only screwing I got was from my union itself.

I just have to wonder if the TDU voice newspaper will actually report on Trumps program’s instituted in relation to labor? I read that the new motto is see something , say nothing , I hope that’s not true.

The two "tough" "SOB's" (O'Brien and Trump), deserve each other. They are both self-serving and pathetic narcissists.

You need to include Paff in with those two , he deserves to be in with that group. He helped make all this possible! There is no getting away from it!

Paff sold his soul for pennies. TDU has no cause other than funding it's small group of pathetic employees.
