    Pathetic Teamster Poll

Any competent pollster would question the validity of the results based on the meager sample size and the methodology. Straw polls, electronic polls and telephone / text polls don't ensure a representative balance of the membership based on the number of issues. It needs to be a representative sample of registered Democrats, Republicans and Independents commensurate with the makeup of the membership based on age and gender.

The state results are even more suspect. One, they don't provide the sample size. Take California, where Trump doesn't even break 30% in the PPIC poll. The PPIC findings are based on a survey of 1,605 California adult residents

In the Teamsters poll, Trump gets 48.8% but it doesn't state how many of the quarter million California Teamsters participated in Sean O'Brien's poll.

Also, another red flag is the massive change in support when Biden was the candidate to when Harris became the candidate. Trump got 36.3% when Biden was in the race, and suddenly his percentage increased to 58.0% when polled against Harris. That's highly suspect.

This report looks like Sean is trying to rescue his bacon. It's meaningless given Locals representing over 1 million Teamsters have endorsed Harris / Walz. The damage O'Brien did was give Fox News and Trump room to be evasive against the massive wall of unified Labor opposing Trump, whose anti-union stance is well documented.

Literally every member was asked to participate. This isn't a pollster operation, these are members responding. All the blowhards on here who don't actually talk to members wouldn't know what members are saying.

Why are there absolutly no reports of Locals or Joint Councils endorsing Trump?

This is the best analysis of the so-called "poll" I've seen. Seems more like a secret vote with no information.

There is ZERO possibility that some of these locals are majority Trump.

Did anyone here participate in any of these polls? I'd be curious to know what questions were asked, how they were worded, and how they were ordered.

There are lots of ways to skew polling methodology to achieve a desired outcome. If you simply ask 1,000 people, "Who do you plan to vote for in November, Kamala Harris or Donald Trump?" you will get different responses than if you say, "Under the Biden-Harris administration, illegal border crossings reached a record. Who do you plan to vote for in November, Biden's border czar Kamala Harris, or President Trump?"

Disclosure: I'm a journalist looking into this for a possible story. Feel free to send me a private message or respond here.

Literally every member was sent the quarterly Teamster magazine with a qr code and link asking how they would vote.
