Re-reading this thread, and discussion about the Teamster magazine, I remembered the following. During the period when JC10 and Teamsters Local 25 President Billy McCarthy was Teamster GP, Billy McCarthy turned the printing contract for the Teamster magazine over to his son-in -law. His son-in-law Thomas Treacy had no printing equipment!

What seems to be. Lost here is that there are two TDU’s , the one from the past that stood for members rights and reforming an atrocious system of thuggery, violence and corruption. Then there is the present TDU which ignores members rights and thuggery, violence and corruption. They have become a business that is concerned with the bottom line , since forming the coalition with O’Brien they are flush, the conventions are packed and the membership is up.
