How is a no endorsement a vote for Trump? It looks like this administration included the republican members in a process that has never happened before. Republican members finally being included. How is this a bad thing.

Look. I'm just gonna come out and say it. It is not at all meant to be offensive. It just is what I've come to experince in six decades Four of them spent in three differnt unions. The vast majority of union workers simply do not have an idiology that is followed. We do not think about a "grand scheme". We happen to go in whatever direction the wind is blowing us today. I get it. I am not criticizing here. Now...a labor leader should be different. Should be responsible enough to follow that idiology rather strictly working in a grand scheme. "Unionism" is an idiology. The stark differences between Democrat and Republican in that respect are vast. Now...maybe Sean had ulterior motives. Ie, publcity, inclusivness, etc. Any such motives are exremely irresposible. I get how some might feel "included" by the poll (which I don't know that I trust as being at all idicative). However, as someone previously posted "Leaders lead". Or, are supposed to. You can't always have a "bullpen closer by committee". Hell, if that were the case the membership could propose a CBA condition to exclude a "Just Cause" clause. Or a "Grievance and Arbitration" clause without teeth, etc. Sean, as well as any other union leader, would never accept a proposal by the membership for good reason. This is not different. This has clearly been a charade for an ulterior motive. Extremely dissapointing and irresponsible. 'Nuff said.
