I’m an independent but I can see democrats are important in our issues — not always — for example we had extreme heat here yesterday and got a 15 minute break every hour, better than the contract !, in the hub because of a Democrat governor. Lots of republican states don’t have even break protections. We have also a mandated 10 sick days in Oregon which is better for some than our contract

Kamala Harris was born to an Indian mother and a Black Jamaican father, both immigrants to the United States. More importantly, she’s far better on our issues — unions — than her opponent. This is correct. Cochran officially resigned on Feb 2, 2023 following an emergency board meeting on Jan 31, 2023. Neither Kat, Chantelle, Colleen, or myself had found or joined Teamsters Mobilize at that point. I joined up sometime in March, the others followed later, June I believe.
