Burtonsville MD Building Closed Due To Automation

O'Brien's "Historic Contract" is rearing it's ugly head. As many know, I work at PHL and we are getting a huge surge of volume and the reason is that the Burtonsville Building closing. There are other buildings that will be closing that will have us see a higher amount of volume because of this agenda to push employees out the door. I can't speak on what happen on their end as far as staffing. It will get worse before it gets better.

Due to all the layoffs in other buildings because of the closures, our building is seeing a surge in layoff call backs. I was told that we will be back to pre layoff status and they may hire more.
