    Gaza, Palestine, Genocide

    Big Logistics and Gaza

My best guess is that all of the big international logistics giants—UPS, DHL, FedEx, and possibly Amazon—are all potentially complicit in Israel's genocide in Gaza. We know that last October, UPS temporarily suspended operations from Turkey to Israel, but little has been said since then. Whether the logistics giants are supplementing the delivery of war supplies or other material to facilitate the genocide is still to be revealed.

We know they are quite capable of doing this. The U.S. and Germany are the biggest arms suppliers to Israel, and I'm sure much more so-called "non-lethal" aid is going through their facilities. UPS in North America and DHL in Germany have the capabilities. UPS loves to boast about its humanitarian operations during natural disasters, it works the other way too during war time.

I wish the union in the U.S. that represents some or all the workers in these companies would step up on this, but I suspect it will only come from the rank and file.

I want my union, the Teamsters, for which i have been a member for over 40 years to not take a side in this conflict. It is none of our business. All this is is antisemitism.

Although I agree, we should stay out of geopolitics. We should concern ourselves with the union itself. We can all have an opinion on it but to take away from our vision is wrong. We still can make an impact by sounding off against genocide and yes it is. The truth is not anti-Semitic.
