    Ken Paff birthday!

Can’t decide if I should sent him a spine or a conscience for his birthday.

I’ve been trying to respond to Gimiboston but I don’t know what to say. There are so many historical stories of people who betrayed their comrades that can be applied here.
He is 78 today and a hope he lives to be 100! Yes , I really do so he can look back and see just what he accomplished with his choice to get a “ seat at the table” by sacrificing what so many fought to achieve.

Happy Birthday, please go away and let the reformers take the mantle of this once proud and dignified organization. Enjoy your scuba sessions.

Happy birthday to a great man. Sorry everyone here is kicking him to the curb. He is a true activist and not just a keyboard activist like the people here.

What will the "$5 whore" get as a gift this year for selling out? Last year he got a safari to Tanzania and a snorkeling trip to the Caribbean, compliments of the OZholes!

            Happy Birthday you $5 whore!

Ken, I’ve known you since 1978. I sent a short article last year about the passing of early TDU activist, Dave Wolfinsohn. I never got a response from TDU. Dave, like his close and long-time comrade and friend, Pete Camarata, wrote and warned about substituting an electoral strategy, for building rank and file power in this Union. TDU got burned early with relying on electing reformers: think of Brendan Kaiser out of the Janesville, Wisconsin local, or on the flip side, the Local 337 warehouseman, Bliss, who was elected as Secretary-Treasurer and the 337 E Board voted to make his position part-time - he put a sign on his forklift, reading “Office of Teamsters Local 337 Secretary-Treasurer “. There is no substitute for rank and file power.
Please think about this on your birthday.

I wished Ken Paff a Happy Birthday on his facebook page. He is an acquaintance, a former reformer that no longer has respect among other reformers.

In 2012, he and TDU stabbed me in the back as they conspired to helped Hoffacers undermine position as the Secretary-Treasurer of Local 100. I should not have been surprised then, but I was.

In 2016, TDU and Paff told me to sit out and allow their candidate, a corrupt local officer, to run without opposition. I told him no, and beat his candidate.

With Paff's assistance, that candidate and his group of corrupt officers and agents filed several internal charges against me, trying to run me out of my union. I fought them and won. But, Ken Paff's finger prints were on every charge filed against me. A couple of those chsrges directly compromised the rights that TDU reformers have fought for, for 40 years.

In 2020, the TDU steering committee, eliminated the publishing their "Worker Bill of Rights" in their newsletter. The Bill of Rights was the reason I was drawn to TDU and their efforts.

I was surprised and a little suspicious when a long time Hoffa agent, flipped on Hoffa and joined Fred Zuckerman to create a "reform" slate.

I was surprised by the number of TDU reformers that became thugs during the last election, threatening anyone that questioned the campaign or candidates on their OZ slate.

I wAs surprised by the number of TDU reformers that left their integrity at the door as they took payoff jobs at the OZ IBT.

At this point the failure of TDU to publish the $200k list, silence on the IBTs failures over the past two years has not been much of a surprise.

The old guard mentality adopted by the changed reformers is appaling. Led by Paff, so many have flipped on the ideals we once shared as values.

Ken Paff is a backstabber. If you're not throwing money at him or helping him make money, he will try to crush you. It never surprised me that he turned on the REAL reformers. Now he is writing articles to suppress what he had been saying all along about these Hofficers. It's so pathetic!

Just like the movement here in Philadelphia. He was writing publications about a guy I was working with, Bobby Curry. Bobby went to 2 meetings during the duration of the Vote No Movement. He rarely helped me in anything I did, then he went on Facebook and would post "Look what I did". And, Paff was calling this guy "The Vote No Leader". Don't worry, Ken will get his. The truth is rising. The scum will be outed.

Anyone who was in the vote no movement knows Bobby Curry and Richard Hooker were way more valuable. They were organized. You were a tag along. Sort of piggy back off their hard self sacrifice and hard work.

In all fairness Paff’s approach(since Carey was banned) has delivered TDU from relative obscurity to being at the table. I assumed any divide on the GEB would have been more along “party lines”. A good indicator of the strength of this coalition will be who is picked to replace Palmer.

Who occupies the seats at the table you consider TDU coalition seats besides Palmer?

More like a seat under the table.

The reform voice has been silenced, as if they've got something stuck in their mouths. 😳
