    Western Teamsters Welfare Trust

A meeting among Teamster and company trustees for the Western Teamsters Welfare Trust was held this week.

Both union and company trustees agreed that the freight division is in deep trouble.

They ccould not understand how Sean O'Brien allowed Yellow to fold.

It was also mentioned that O'Brien has decided to drop organizing XPO Logistics and the ports.

Trustees on both sides believe that ABF and T-Force will follow.

They all agreed on one thing, that is Sean O'Brien will be credited for the death of the Teamsters freight division.

This information is non factual. The freight division is in big trouble as it has been for decades. This was not how it unfolded though. You need to get a better mole.

Is it true they’re stopping freight organizing?

No, they would never make a statement like that. They are going to continue to go after low hanging fruit like ten roads and other small victories like that. There has been no talk of stopping any organizing. The Freight Department at the IBT has already let go many of the reps.

that’s disappointing and very concerning. Now there’s old dominion , saia, Estes , R+L , XPO

Sean O’Brien deserves to be voted out so we can restore actual power in this union this is fucking embarrassing
