I did a little research last night, made some calls and found out that Jimenez never told anyone that they didn't have the right to run against him and that he was just calling out Quinonez on all the shit he and his supporters were talking online. Quinonez ran against Jimenez and lost on the last go around. Now he's forming a slate to run again. Quinonez was a member of Local 630 up until the merger of Von's and Albertosons and has been dying to get a job and get out of the warehouse. He claimed he was a organizer at Local 630.

I always had a lot of respect for Sevilla, i know he rubbed a few the wrong way but he's negotiated some good contracts from what i have seen throughout the years. Maybe there's some stink on him from the Kelly days but overall i haven't seen anything bad.

So I did my research also, Quinones was let go, fired, terminated, what ever you want to call it, by local 630. Apparently there was an email released by Jimenez last election that proved Jimenez got Quinones his job back at Albertsons. My personal opinion is that was a dumb move. Why would you help opposition from a different local get a job. No different than any other local, Quinones along with other members were posting so called lies and got called out. Jimenez called them out on it with no response from the people he called out. Again me personally, I would not have given them the time of day. Like someone else said on this thread. That Local has turned 180 since Kelly left. People may hate but that Local as a whole has proven they are a good local through action. Another personal opinion but I like that local and the fire they have. As for any “running” talk, I’m told their election isn’t till next October 2025
