    Just a reminder:
Trump has repeatedly claimed he’s "the least racist person." His history suggests otherwise.

Hey, I can't stand the orange man, but wouldn't this claim be based on conviction of offenses outlined? If a person is alleged or even indicted, but not convicted, they are not guilty of the allegations. Last I checked, we are innocent until proven guilty. Granted, the orange man may change that so we are guilty until proven innocent, but we haven't gone there yet.

The 14th Amendment is widely considered self-executing. Meaning that the insurrectionist—and sending an armed mob to kill your own Vice President to stop an election certification certainly counts—is automatically barred from office. See Robert E Lee and his own case against treason charges per the 14th. SCOTUS will be making the case law, but considering they are one of the worst courts in a hundred years I wouldn’t be surprised if they overturned historical precedent. The fact is that Trump openly sought to overthrow the US government—that’s not a secret. Is he immune from criminal sanction because he was president? Not historically but this SCOTUS would reverse Brown v Board so we will see. In any case, the IBT constitution is clear about those who advocate for the overthrow of a federal, state or municipal government—and that does NOT require conviction. As for harming members, one only need to look at Trump’s record.

Exactly why he was reinstated in Colorado. He was never charged with insurrection. You can't twist a man's words when he said "peacefully and patriotically".

        Peaceful?
The select panel has heard that, after "hang Mike Pence” chants broke out, the then-president expressed support for the prospect of hanging his No. 2, three people told POLITICO.

The decision by District Judge Sarah B. Wallace is the third ruling in a little over a week against lawsuits seeking to knock Trump off the ballot by citing Section 3 of the amendment.

Exactly, insurrection—yes. The legal consequences are not yet defined as this has happened since the 1860s.

When Mark Meadows said “Mr President they are shouting hang Mike Pence”, Trump replied “Mike deserves it” and then sent out that tweet about how Pence didn’t have the courage to stand up for America. That’s been confirmed by special aide Cassidy Hutchinson under oath and two others at the Jan 6th committee.

Not exactly liberal propaganda. This was a part of Liz Cheney’s questioning and summary in the committee.
During the first night of the House January 6 select committee’s presentation, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) revealed former President Donald Trump responded positively to Capitol rioters chanting to hang former Vice President Mike Pence.

                Sounds scary!

Hears what he was answering to. Put the full text up. He was answering his original question not the hang pence quote.

Karl asked Trump if he was worried about Pence during the attack on the Capitol by rioters who aimed to stop the certification of electoral college results and thereby overturn Trump’s defeat by Joe Biden.

“No,” Trump said. “I thought he was well-protected, and I had heard that he was in good shape. No. Because I had heard he was in very good shape. But, but, no, I think – ”
He answered that he was told Pence was safe. No thoughts of hanging him.

As for Cheney, I am saying she had no reason to do this unless it was real. She lost her house seat. She’s a pariah. She’ll never serve in office again. This wasn’t a power move. On the contrary, I’m quoting Cassidy Hutchinson who testified under oath. I can’t speak for brother Cochran but I think the totality of facts is compelling. Also to remind you the committee was chaired by Bennie Thompson, an actual friend or labor and a lifelong fighter for civil rights.

                And this
In the days before Jan. 6, as Trump pressured Pence to intervene in Congress' counting of Electoral College votes, those around him in the White House did not believe the legal advice that Pence actually had standing to intervene.

Yes, obstruction by special prosecutor. The 14th is self-executing. Brother Cochran could explain better but he doesn’t like social media so he’s turned the keys over to me, and I am a tired sorter. Have a good weekend, brother.
