Today, the International Brotherhood of Teamster General Executive Board invited a man into the sacred halls of Teamster headquarters who has been convicted of sexual assault and who tried to overthrow the country. At the same time, this General Executive Board, in cooperation with the US Department of Justice, has been kicking Teamster members out of the Union for breaking some silly rules about simply talking - yes, just talking - to members who they had previously kicked out of the union. Disgusting. Totally disgusting.

Not to mention that that the charges were politically motivated, based on lies and speculation, and retroactive interpretations of misguided decisions. Lying and making statements designed to destroy people's lives seems to be a pattern here that fits well with the IBT and the visiting candidate!

The banning of members has been corrupted over the years . It was intended originally for association with organized crime members . Banning members for mob connections which historically have damaged our members and the reputation of our union. It is now often a political weapon to eliminate opposition within the union .

It seems to me that I’ve seen a picture of Fred Zuckerman actually walking a picket line with striking employees at one of Trumps casinos in Atlantic City when he was running for President. So how does this work ? When running for office we support the striking workers but once elected we support the person they were striking , is that what happens?

Trump speaking behind a teamster podium in our headquarters is disgraceful and indicative of the lack of leadership we're dealing with.

Going after officers because they talked to someone banned is just the current tactic to eliminate opposition. If you'll notice in almost every recent case officers were suspended for "talking" not about anything that they would personaly benefit from. It was always about serious union business and how to prevail against the employer. That was never the purpose of the Consent Decree. The Consent Decree was about getting rid of the MOB not duly elected Teamster officers.

All this shade and there has been no endorsement. Sean knows how to play the political game. There is a reason do all your union business on the internet anonymously and Sean does it in the real world. Sean hates Trump. Thats a fact. But he is giving him consideration based on a high percentage of the overall membership liking Trump. I think it would be careless to dismiss Trump without at least appeasing the members. It’s all about the members with SOB. That’s why he crushed the opposition in the election.
