ANHEUSER-BUSCH TEAMSTERS: VOTE YES BY DEC. 16
Strike vote authorization is underway now among more than 5,000 Anheuser-Busch Teamsters at 11 local unions across the country. Voting is being held in-person. All members are strongly encouraged to vote YES to authorize strike action at the global beer giant by Dec. 16.
Authorization allows the Teamsters National Negotiating Committee to call a nationwide strike at @anheuserbusch should the company fail to reach an agreement with members.
The current contract expires Feb. 29, 2024.
“Significant gains have already been secured for retiree pension protections and fair health care coverage for all members. But work remains to be done, and we must keep Anheuser-Busch accountable to the workforce for every minute of this contract fight,” said Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien. “The Teamsters want Anheuser-Busch back at the table as soon as possible to put it in writing that our members’ jobs are secure and they can expect record wage increases under a new agreement. Anything less isn’t going to cut it.”
