UPS TEAMSTER GOES THE EXTRA MILE

Trenton is a UPS driver represented by Teamsters Local 638 in Minnesota. Over the summer, he was making a delivery for Ryan and Mary in Stillwater, Minn., when he was greeted by the couple’s then-5-year-old son.

Their son has been a UPS fanatic since he was gifted a model of the company’s truck for Christmas. He was excited to tell Trenton that he was going to have a UPS-themed party for his upcoming 6th birthday.

The next time the family popped up on Trenton’s route, he brought something extra to make the party special: a few UPS hats and a new model truck for his collection. Their son was ecstatic, and he invited Trenton to attend his party.

Stillwater is an hour away from Trenton’s hometown, and the party was being held on his day off. But he made the time and effort to show up — wearing his UPS browns, of course!

Like so many other UPS Teamsters, Trenton went above and beyond, turning an ordinary stop into an extraordinary, lifelong memory for this family.
