After visiting with rank-and-file ABF workers this morning, Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien and General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman walked the belts and met with hundreds of UPS Teamsters in San Antonio, Texas. Alongside Local 657 President Frank Perkins and International Vice Presidents Brent Taylor and Tom Erickson, O’Brien and Zuckerman emphasized the importance of heightened contract enforcement in the leadup to the 2028 UPS Teamsters National Master Agreement campaign.



“The work of bargaining the strongest contract in UPS history in 2028 begins today, and it starts by fiercely enforcing our contract. We need to be holding management accountable every single time they violate our agreement,” O’Brien said. “With the engagement and militancy of the membership, we’re going to secure another agreement that pushes back against UPS’s mismanagement and guarantees industry-leading standards and protections for generations of Teamsters to come.”
