That's a wrap on the 2026 Teamsters Women's Conference in Washington, D.C.!



This afternoon, more than 1,500 Teamsters women heard from Women’s Conference Director Ashley Alvarado, Western Region International Vice President Karla Schumann on contract enforcement at UPS and preparing today for our 2028 contract campaign, and Va. State Delegate Kathy Tran (D-18th District) on the fight to expand collective bargaining for public sector workers in Virginia. Attendees also heard panels from rank-and-file members on working as women in non-traditional industries and Teamsters women leading militant strike lines.



With the 2026 Women's Conference complete, more than 1,500 Teamsters sisters will travel back to their local unions armed with information and tools to better serve our membership.
