The 2026 Teamsters Women’s Conference is underway!



The 2026 Teamsters Women’s Conference has kicked off in Washington, D.C., with more than 1,500 Teamsters women hearing from General President Sean M. O’Brien, General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman, Teamsters Women’s Conference Director Ashley Alvarado, as well as Western Region International Vice President Lindsay Dougherty, and Local 639 President William Davis.



Throughout the next several days, Teamsters women will be participating in workshops to sharpen their skills and learn about tactics and tools to keep growing North America's strongest and most militant union.



"Teamsters women are leading the way," said Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien. "You are organizing. You’re building committees. Confronting bosses. Walking picket lines. Building political power. And you are showing workers what this union is capable of."
