BREAKING: A new report released by the Teamsters and our allies shows that Amazon is the leading violator of New York's Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act, which requires large employers to give workers advanced notice of termination or closures.



From 2023-2025, at least 25% of New York workers laid off in the transportation and warehouse industry worked for Amazon. During those years, over 1,000 workers were fired without the legally required notice from Amazon.



Despite claiming to be a "job creator,” Amazon is verifiably the biggest threat to good jobs in America. The Teamsters will not let Amazon continue destroying the workers responsible for its trillions in profit.
