Teamsters-backed candidate for U.S. Senate in Ohio Sherrod Brown spoke this afternoon with union leaders and rank-and-file members gathered for a meeting of the Ohio Conference of Teamsters, which represents 50,000 workers across the state.



Brown has spent decades fighting for Teamsters in Ohio and across the country. He successfully led the legislative battle to protect earned pension benefits for Teamsters retirees, introduced the bipartisan Railway Safety Act, and stood shoulder to shoulder with Teamsters on the picket line and at the bargaining table. If elected, Brown has committed to co-sponsoring the Teamsters key legislative priority, the Faster Labor Contracts Act, in the Senate.
