Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien and Tom Mari, President of Local 25, announced that Local 25 is endorsing Maura Healey’s re-election campaign for Massachusetts Governor. The Governor met with O’Brien, Mari, and Local 25 members earlier today at the union’s CDL Training Academy in Tewksbury, Mass.



Healey has been an unwavering advocate for Massachusetts Teamsters by expanding prevailing wage protections in the construction industry, restoring over $460k in lost earnings for UPS workers, successfully pressuring Republic Services to settle a strike that the waste giant caused last year, and expanding policies that create union jobs in the Commonwealth’s film industry.
