Teamsters General President Sean M. O'Brien concluded five worksite visits across Boston on Friday, spending time with Local 25 members at United Airlines at Boston Logan International Airport and with Signature Aviation Teamsters who support private and corporate aviation operations. Behind every United flight is a dedicated group of highly skilled aviation Teamsters. These members work around the clock to inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft, helping ensure the safety of the flying public every day.

Fresh off securing an agreement in principle with United after two years of fighting for a fair contract, these workers are showing exactly what Teamsters strength and solidarity looks like.

"The strong agreement in principle achieved this week at United didn't happen by accident," O'Brien said. "Teamsters earned it through two years of perseverance and commitment to one another. Our members in aviation perform critical work every day to keep passengers and other airline workers safe. The contract victory at United shows what's possible when Teamsters stand together and refuse to settle for less."
