This morning, Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien and General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman met with members of Local 243 at Palmer Moving and Storage in Warren, Michigan. The nearly 60 Teamsters at Palmer work as drivers and warehouse workers, handling residential and corporate moves and helping keep operations running smoothly. From relocating families and businesses to storing furniture during major hotel renovations, these members play an important role in communities across Southeastern Michigan. Their solidarity paid off last year when they ratified a contract with historic wage increases, raising the bar and delivering a stronger future for all.
