Teamsters Local 90 has secured wall-to-wall density at River Hills Health center in Ottumwa, Iowa. The new Teamsters work in a variety of job classifications and ensure that some of the most vulnerable members of the community receive the care they deserve.



"We voted to organize with the Teamsters to improve patient care and morale across the entire facility," said Cassie Dunlavy, a family nurse practitioner at River Hills Medical Center. "Management has put patient care in danger by overbooking our schedules. We won't stand for it, and we joined the Teamsters so we can get back to providing safe care to our patients. We know our union will hold our employer accountable if they do anything to jeopardize that."
