Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien, General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman, International Vice Presidents Lindsay Dougherty and Victor Mineros, Teamsters Warehouse Division Director Tom Erickson, and Eric Jimenez, President of Teamsters Local 952, met with members early this morning at the CVS Health Distribution Center in La Habra, Calif. More than 900 Teamsters at this facility play a critical role in moving essential health care products safely and efficiently to communities across Southern California.



Following a credible strike threat that pushed management back to the bargaining table, members of Local 952 overwhelmingly ratified a new four-year collective bargaining agreement last May that delivered significant gains. The new contract secured a $7.10 per hour wage increase over the life of the agreement, including $3 per hour more in the first year, along with $1.50 per hour increases to pension contributions that strengthen retirement security for hundreds of Teamsters families.



“These Teamsters perform work that is absolutely critical to our health care system, and this contract reflects that responsibility,” O’Brien said. “Local 952 members at CVS demanded an agreement that recognizes the importance of the work they do every day, and their new contract ensures these members can provide for their families and retire with dignity.”
