Bill Hamilton, Director of the Teamsters Express Division, visited DHL Express Teamsters today at both the Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport Service Point facilities. Joined by Rick Hicks, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 174 and Teamsters International Western Region Vice President, Hamilton spoke with members about the fight ahead in negotiations for a new national contract.



The current DHL Teamsters National Master Agreement expires on March 31. The Teamsters have been clear: there will be no contract extensions, and all supplemental bargaining must be completed before national bargaining begins.



“We’ve made it abundantly clear to DHL that we will not work a day past the contract expiration,” Hamilton said. “DHL must put a fair contract on the table that raises standards, improves working conditions, and protects our benefits by March 31.”
