This morning, Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien, General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman, International Vice Presidents Lindsay Doughtery and Victor Mineros, and Teamsters Warehouse Division Director Tom Erickson met with members of Teamsters Local 952 at the Albertsons distribution center in Irvine, Calif. Joined by Eric Jimenez, President of Local 952, O’Brien spoke with drivers, warehouse workers, clerical staff, and maintenance workers about the hard-fought gains secured in their most recent collective bargaining agreement and the importance of enforcing every provision of the contract.



In September, the group of over 1,600 workers overwhelmingly ratified a new five-year agreement. The contract included an immediate $4 per hour wage increase, with raises totaling over $10 over the life of the agreement, a $2 increase in pension contributions, and critical language improvements to strengthen working conditions.



“These Teamsters are the backbone of our grocery supply chain,” O’Brien said. “By standing together, Local 952 members won massive raises, stronger pensions, and the protections they deserve. Rain or shine, on holidays and weekends, they keep fresh food and essential goods moving — and this contract ensures their hard work is finally met with respect on the job.”
