Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien spoke this morning at the Associated General Contractors of America Labor Conference. To attendees gathered from across the country, he explained the critical role rank-and-file Teamsters are playing in strengthening our communities as well as the work our union is doing to protect against threats posed to the American worker.



“The American economy would grind to a halt were it not for the sweat and sacrifice of 1.3 million hardworking Teamsters,” O’Brien said. “With AI and automation, Corporate America is pushing a negative agenda from all sides. The Teamsters Union is working tirelessly to fight back and ensure our members’ needs are met and their voices are heard.”
