Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien and General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman are in Portland, Maine, walking the belts and meeting with UPS rank-and-filers. Alongside Brett Miller, President of Teamsters Local 340, they spoke directly with members about gains made through the UPS Teamsters National Master Agreement as well as ongoing and expanded contract enforcement efforts.



“There is no force more powerful than solidarity. All 340,000 UPS Teamsters proved that when they leveraged their credible strike threat to lock in huge new gains through our national contract. But we can’t afford to let off the gas,” O’Brien said. “UPS wants nothing more than for us to look past their contract violations. With the militancy of every single UPS Teamster — not just in Maine but all across the country — we’re going to continue holding management accountable to our agreement.”
