Sanitation Teamsters across the country have ratified strong new contracts that improve members’ lives.



Thanks to their courage and militancy, Tomra workers represented by Teamsters Local 294 and Waste Management workers represented by Locals 125, 627, and 701, have locked in substantial raises, improvements to time off, and stronger work protections.



“I’ve been a Teamster for 34 years, and this contract is one of the best I’ve been a part of,” said Steve Baum, a Tomra worker and member of Local 294. “With the strong leadership of our local, we addressed some of the biggest concerns we have on the job. And we’re looking forward to seeing these gains play out over the life of this agreement.”
