Members of Teamsters Local 996 at Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu have ratified a new three-year contract, officially ending their strike.



Pushed to the picket line in October after the employer committed numerous unfair labor practices, more than 300 Teamsters secured a strong agreement that includes annual wage increases, improved shift differentials, medical cost caps, and signing bonuses in the first two years of the contract.
