Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien, General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman, and Central Region International Vice President Danny Avelyn attended Teamsters Local 41’s Stewards Seminar in Kansas City, Missouri, to recognize the local’s recent victories and celebrate the wins members fought for and won this year.



Local 41 has been on the frontlines delivering hard-fought victories for working people across the heartland. Carhaul drivers at Hansen Adkins recently stood strong and voted to join Local 41, securing the strength and protections of the National Master Automobile Transporters Agreement. At Breakthru Beverage in St. Louis, drivers organized, fought back, and overwhelmingly voted to become Teamsters — locking in long-overdue pay, benefits, and health care improvements.



“Local 41 doesn’t back down from a fight,” O’Brien reminded stewards. “From brewery, bakery, and soft drink workers to the warehouse and construction trades, this local union takes on unfair employers at all costs. The Teamsters are powerful across Missouri, and it resonates nationwide.”
