BREAKING: Amazon CDL Drivers in Kentucky Make History to Join Teamsters

Amazon Transportation Operations Management (TOM) Team drivers at the SDF9 facility in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, are joining the Teamsters, becoming the first unit of Amazon CDL drivers to unionize in the country. The new members of Teamsters Local 89 drive semi-trucks and tractor trailers and are responsible for transporting freight around Amazon properties and between facilities.



Today, TOM Team drivers at SDF9 marched on the boss to demand union recognition with the Teamsters and better working conditions at the facility.



Amazon workers at facilities across the country are realizing their power and organizing to win everything they deserve by becoming Teamsters.
